Default Driver side ballast keeps blowing

Ive installed 3 ballast.... the first two lasted for some time. on the third(which i installed yesterday) i hear a high pitch whine. the bulb flickers and it shuts off. if i keep turning the switch on and off eventually the whine goes down and it stays on. However that ballast only lasted 1 freaking day. The bulb works (i know because i swapped it on the other headlight). what can this be?????? im sure its installed correctly.

Anyone have similar problems? i really hate the stock bulbs i wouldnt want to go back to them. Thanks

What kind of harness are you using? Are your grounds clean? Those ballasts are made in China, and as we all know quality control isnt the best in Chinese factories. However since its always the passenger side, it sounds like your install is screwed up. I will bet its the wiring, and I will also bet you are not using a relay harness.

BING! Proper power/ground supply to the ballast is key for it not struggling to power on.
