Default "Don't use HIDs" sticker

Long time reader first time poster.

I bought some ebay halo projectors as a quick fix to some busted headlights. I noticed the "warning warning not for use with HIDs" sticker while putting them in. Whats the worst that could happen if I do use HIDs? Will the whole thing catch fire? If so then I gotta try.

No it should work just fine, I think it is just a warning because putting a plug and play kit in those headlights isn't legal.

the sticker is for the high beams...not low beams...had HID's in my low beams for year and a half no problems...wouldn't think of putting them in the high beams...you could tell it wouldn't work out well...

The HID temperature won't melt the plastic or anything?

Which plastic, the housing shouldn't melt, and it isn't good to put HID's in your high beams.

I'm not too concerned with my high beams since I mainly running through the city. So long as nothing melts or frys wiring I'm going for it.

Make sure with HID's you run them through a relay harness.

Is that still true if you run them through a 55w ballast. I've never been able to find this.

First car with projectors and I like them a great deal even with the crappy H1s that came with them unaimed an all. I always liked halos till I put them on my srt. Driving around I felt and I don't know why. Maybe cause I've only had imports and halos fit them more. I'd trade the halos for dual projectors.

Any hoo, 9007 relay harness and H1 HID kit, that right?
