Default DEPO's Black LED taillights

These are goin to be the fist pair of aftermarket lights I have bought and I want to make sure they stay nice looking as long as I own them. I have seen aftermarket lights with fog in them after about a week or two after installation. Is there something I should do to prevent that or will it not be a problem. Also, are they direct plugins or are there going to be modifactions needed?

Thanks
Wade

Search around this section. You'll notice nobody is having issues with them.

I'd also like to mention that I do colormatched and oem chrome red finishes to those very same tails (see my new sig ). The black DEPO in their original finish are dull and are not gloss what so ever. If you want gloss or something differnet than your average LED unit, hit me up.

I might hit you up soon to see about getting something done to mine...How much do you charge? My car is orange and black and I'd like to do the inside of the lights the same color orange. Here's a pic of my car...and an idea of the shade of orange.

Yeah thats my biggest gripe with the black style DEPO sells. All it is the chrome ones just that they didn't have them chrome finish applied yet. This is why I like the gloss or colormatched much better.

I see no reason for it not to pass inspection. The red reflectors are not tinted or painted. The reverse light still lights up PLENTY fine and far better than stock tails do even with it being painted black

For pics on how they look OEM colormatched black, go here LP's colormatched custom OEM black LED pics!

Reverse light is still fine and very bright...

Dont worry about your LED tails leaking. I actually had my drivers side Black housing LED tail leak after about 2 months of owning it. I was very disappointed because I really liked them and the build quality looked awesome. In any case I contacted Jon and 4HeadLights and he called me back very quickly and he replaced the broked ones. Great customer service I've had the current ones for just about the same time and no problems!

Do you have a closer pic of the orange that you do have? It might be similar enough.

Well just put the lights in and these bitches are bad ass on the silver. I think I will see if the flat black will stick with me I kind of like it on the silver. I will post pics tomorrow.

Thanks for all the help
