if you take off the plastic pieces on the steering colum you'll see a connector there that is fried. the same thing just happened to someone here. the harness needs to be replaced. good luck getting it under warranty, although i seriously hope that you do as it's like a $400 part as you can't get just the needed connector, but have to buy the entire wiring harness.
it might not be covered under warranty. if you read the post, he modified the fog light switch to turn on with the parking lights. the exact same thing that cause dynasty's to burn out. and since an electrical modification was made to the car, why should dodge warranty it? the harness didn't burn out on its own, a modification caused it to happen. now a dealer might be cool and do it under warranty, but it most definetly is not a case of automatic coverage.
thank you..Im going to undo the fog lights and make it look factory..I'm going to take it to dodge tommorrow..I'll let you guys know if it works out..Thanks again

no offense, but that's a shitty move. this the reason that it's so hard to get warranty work done, because people mod, break stuff, then try to go back to stock and get it fixed. i know that you're concerned and just want to get it fixed, but at the same time you were the one that caused the failure, not dodge.
