Default Custom Shroud for TL Projectors

As ingenious as the Walmart trash can idea is for making a shroud, I never really liked the end look of it. A little browsing around on HIDplanet gave me the idea to make this:



Here's a picture of it on the TL projector:



However, after playing around with it a bit with the headlight lens...I realized there would be fitment issues. So that idea was nixed. Then I thought to merge the trash can shroud with this one.

I made a stencil out of cardboard...I'll see if the local Walmart carries the infamous trash can soon. Here's a picture of the stencil on the TL projector:



I then cut the top part of the custom shroud off and taped it to the stencil to get a general idea of what it'll look like. Here's a few pics of that:





There's still some fitment issues I have to work out, but here's a pic with the headlight lens up to it:



I plan on making another bezel with a slightly smaller outside radius, adding some character to the inside of the bezel so it blends into the lens better, and trimming up that chrome thing in the lower left of the last picture so it won't hit the shroud. Still have a ways to go...

Beautiful, wonder what this is going to turn out looking like, im currently working on a good shroud for my customers TL also. The trash can idea is kind of =/.
