bad= HID kit
good= HID retro (HID projectors)
strobes= ehh, its your car. Not my style

A retro will get you the blue colors in the colorband but without having to go to a blue bulb because they don't give off useable light. Will also give you superior HID performance over a PnP kit. Do as you want though, I'm just giving my personal opinion.
