I want to be able to install a switch that will control the power going to my brake lights. So I basically need to know where I can find the relay wire that tells the brakes and third brake light to come on when I apply the brakes. NOTE: When I have my headlights on and the running lights are on need to stay on when i have the switch installed. The reason I want the switch is so when I am flying on the 405 I can slow down and there will be no way in noticing me applying the brakes, ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME.
first of all if you dont live in the oc area of california then you dont know what the cops are like out here. It aint like I live in Vegas or Chicago,IL. I have the car registered in IL and I have a IL license. I just dont wanna draw any extra attention to myself. the cops out here are complete asss holes and will look for any reason to pull me over. and i already have a bad enough driving record. it may be illegal but they wount know what or where the switch does. its not like im goingm to have my brake lights off all the time. just when i am running from the police. so to answer your question.

it is going to save me from a few speeding tickets cause they hear my exhaust see the car and think to themselves. "thats gotta be someone how speeds, the car just looks and sounds fast"
so please keep your immature comments and remarks to yourself and if you can help me accomplish this task of controlling when the brake lights come on that that will help.

This is a terrible idea. Do you honestly think cops are dumb enough that when they see you "flying on the 405" they will suddenly assume that you are traveling the speed limit just because you don't have your brakelights on?? Quit being an idiot.
Second of all, what happens the one time you forget to flip the switch off when you pull off the 405 and get into city traffic? Since you will be accustomed to having brake lights in town, you probably won't think twice about it until you've got Jim Bob the truck driver rammed up your srt's ass.
I wonder why you've got a bad driving record...must just be the "asshole" cops.
for all the trouble it is worth, just don't speed, or get a good radar detector and slow down before you pass the cops!!!! i mean why don't you just pull the e-brake all the way and hold on for the ride

If you want to speed enough to get pulled over, then you deserve the ticket and the trouble it causes you. And when I say speed enough, most cops don't bother with highway speeding that's < 10 mph over the limit.
