Has anyone attempted this yet? I got my Depo Clear Corners a few weeks back. I had to replace my current clear corners because one had a crack. So I tried with the broken ones first. Popped apart pretty easy with a sharp knife. So I moved on to the Depo's. Same way, lens popped right off. I was debating on doing LED Clear Corners (Like SRTowner's 3rd Brake Light) now that the lens is off, but I don't think I am that ambitious. So i am going to paint them up and just use my Matrix 5 Way LED bulbs. I won't get to painting these until after we close on our house since I can't paint around the apartment. I can post pics of the seperated lens if anyone is interested. It took me about 5 minutes per marker to get the lens off. I went really slow and didn't pry, just worked the knife around the edge to loosen the glue. I think they will look nice when done.
