I was wondering if anyone has the Ultralite II gauges with a cluster color matched well with them? I was going to do the blue LED's but I think I've decided to go with matching to the gauge (I assume changing the gauge wouldn't be as straight forward as the stock boost gauge was?). I thought about the super white but I'm sure it'll be way too far off.

Based on the info I heard about how they light up from people that have them, you're not going to be able to change the color without a HUGE amount of work Not worth it IMO, and I am all for doing WAY more than most when it comes to changing lighting

Thanks Wiggy. I may not have made myself clear in my post. I'm actually looking to change the cluster lighting not the gauge (as you said....I assumed the Ultralite II gauge would be a huge PITA to change). So I'm trying to see if the super white led swap in the cluster would be remotely close.....but I'm assuming not?? If not do you have any other suggestions as to how to get the cluster roughly the same color?

Oops, my bad. I think it wouldn't be too hard to match the color, but you'd likely have to go through the process I did in order to remove the green hue from the cluster. Have you looked at my red lighting how-to? I think that's what you'll need to loosely follow (and just use white LED's instead of red film) in order to achieve that look. Totally do-able I think, but it's gonna take some effort for sure.

Yeah I've been reading more How-To's on various topics (including your red how-to). I'm getting into the mood to mod again
If I decided to go with the blue LED swap that doesn't require the sanding of the green film right (just plug and play)? Also do you by chance know if Dodge sells just the cluster overlay?
Ugh.....I pulled the gauge over lay off my '99 Cougar and did basically the same thing. I'd prefer not to do that.....it looks like I may have to end up going with the blue.
LOL, I'm doing two DSM's right now myself. Luckily the DSM cluster comes apart pretty much on its own. Super simple versus the SRT/Neon cluster. Well, good luck with whatever you decide to go with!
