ok i know you remove the 3 bolts holding the front bumper cover and the 2 bolts that hold the bulb in place i tryed for like 30 min to pull the light out but i didnt want to stretch the bumper cover any further so is there a trick i missed? or do i just need a bigger set of balls and pull that bumper cover out further??i tryed the drivers side first seeing i think i can get to the passenger side without removing anything any tips or tricks are greatly appreciated seeing id like to get these silver stars in before the snow starts flying
the bumper is not fiberglass...just pull on that fucker and pull the headlight assembly out. dont be the incredible hulk, just pull it far enough to pull the headlight out. ive taken mine in and out a bunch of times...makes it easier to get to the three fender bolts holdin the front bumper on.
pull the front bumper out far enough so that black pieces underneath hold it away. you can bend it back extremely far without damagaing your bumper. so to answer your question, you need some bigger balls
Can anyone tell me which the Silver star or piaa are the brighter of the bulb. The stock ones "suck" at nite. Also, any ideas as to a brighter fog bulbs?
yea dont worry about anythign cracking ,even the paint. It's urethane so it will pop back into place. What i do is just unscrew the screws above the radiator, so i can bent the bumper cover back a lil so i can pull the light out.
um, so why are you removing the headlight assembly to replace the bulb? just wondering
