Question changing headlight bulbs

is it easyier to remove the headlights to get at the bulbs ??or can i snake my hand on passenger side and get to that one and remove air box for the drivers side how did you all change yours?

just take them out, unless you have extremely small hands.

its not that hard, you have to pull the front bumper out a little.

i think theres 3 bolts total per headlight.

its best to take them out because you dont want to touch the bulb with bare hands.

I have found that if you can squeeze a couple fingers in there from each hand, it's not too difficult to turn the locking ring. Once you get that turned, you can pull the bulb right on out.

I have changed mine out several times. At first I had to remove the headlight to get to the bulbs, but after doing a few times I now can change them w/o removing anything. I have pretty big hands too, so it can be done just takes some experience.

I just changed my bulbs to the SilverStar ones by Sylvania. At first I attempted to dismantle the headlight, but found out that I could just lay flat on my back and stick my hand up (on the driver side) and replace it with no problem. Same goes with the passenger side, except you should be able to get to it from just standing up and reaching in. Note: before you do this you should take a flat head and pop off the connectors attached to the plugs.

Thx for all the good info i also got the silver stars so i dont wanna touch the bulb at all ......thx agian
