Default cannot get hid's to turn on

I just removed them from a friends car and installed them in mine. I cannot get them to turn on. I've been reading and i cannot find any info on what my problem may be. They worked in his car, then............BAM not in mine. Someone said they need to charge the ballasts?????? Like leave it on and they will kick on.......Thats not happening. Whats up? They are Xentec lights. I really dont know much about this, so if you guys could help out I'd appreciate it.

Kane

Yes. You have to switch the wires around in the harness that connects to your stock headlight. Just switch the 2 wires and leave the ground. This usually happens on 9007 bulbs.

If you wanna run a relay harness for your headlights, I got one for sale.

Also, when do the fogs turn on?? I know my switch is all messed up and they turn on whenever and when I put the right turn signal on. Mussed be a tight wire or something.

well, if you dont mind the high beam light on your dash, then leave it. I got tired of switching the lever and looking at the light so I rewired mine.
