Default Brighter backup lights,

Now that I have my Hid projectors in, they are so bright that i can see crap backing up at night!!

I know there was a post a little while back with some ideas on how to improve back-up lighting, any ideas?

Thanks!

You could use LEDs...and they're bright...but they just don't reflect as much backwards as the stock ones do.

pff - therefor you just could take one of those little 20-W-halogen bulbs (or even higher) for home-use. They should fit nicely into the reverse light.
(One side for the reverse and the other one for fun...)

:

PS: Don't let it light to long - i guess it would melt a hole in the taillight...

I got the HID setup off here for like $30. I saw pictures on oznium of a guy with a corvette that did the HID retro to his reverse lights for tail gaters. Keep them on the stock wiring and add a separate switch as well so you can turn them on when you want. I GUARANTEE you'll increase the distance between you and the car behind you with one flick of that switch
