Did you check your multifunction switch in the encasement around the steering column? It could be burnt up. Have you always used factory bulbs or did you have some type of aftermarket bulb in there at any time (headlights, turn signals, etc)?

the switch seemed ok. the bulbs are stock. all the parking lights and headlights+ fogs work fine. suppose i could take the switch off and hit the brakes to see if fuse blows??

Well did you pull the switch off to see if it was "melted" in any way? Something is drawing too much causing fuses to blow.
