Well, if you drive a good bit at night and don't want to piss anyone off, then a HID kit isn't for you. They cause glare and don't give the proper lighting pattern due to the housing being designed for a halogen bulb, not a HID capsule. They emit light in two completely different ways and create different patterns.

The best way your going to be safe for oncomers and have HID is to do a complete HID projector retro. This is the only way your going to get good, safe and effecient HID lighting in your car.

its true...i had an HID kit i installed on the stock housings with no adjustment to headlights and the pattern was bright but not consistant unlike when you use the kit in their designed housings.

in the capsules..

well what if i just wanted the black housing headlights with my HID kit i already have, will the black housing headlight alter the performance of the lights at all, or will i see just like if i had the chrome stock reflector lights? projectors are way better then reflectors i know, but when u dont have the money to get them its better to have just HID bulbs, at least u can see alot better then halogen, i know i can, they bright up the whole road, they just dont have much distance because the beam pattern goes everywhere but its not that bad. I can see great with them and im happy with them.

Hak, how much are your HID's? I'm blind, I couldn't find a price and don't know exactly what I'm looking for on your site. Do you by chance have a direct link. I'd like to get my wife a set for Christmas, she'd love 'em....
