I cut the back out and put it in for a test fitment.

This is what this $15 projector is capable of with a pnp hid kit.
I want to be clear that this is in a very rough stage and its my first retro. I didnt clean the dust, its not sealed up, and I havent fully mounted it yet. Im doing this to make sure these will clear ok in the back. I can push the projector forward more if its needs to and it will still clear the front cover when I put it back on. Im going to do a final measurement with my stock fogs off to make sure it fits. If it does im going to scrap this one and work on mine. I thought I would get my hands dirty before I did a headlight retro.
fyi I used to have an 03 srt-4 but it was totaled. I now drive an 01 r/t with an srt swap and I just put 05 bumpers on it.
Thos foglights are $15. pnp hid kit is $75-$200. The fogs are discontinued and there was only one store left in canada that carried them (none in the us). I bought 3 sets for my future cars lol.
Heres an update. 03+ neons and srt-4's have the same folights and mounting bracket. Also the fogs can be opened up with a heatgun. Im working on the set for my car now. It should be done by next week.
They will probably sell for about $40. They cost $15 new, but nobody carries them since they are discontinued. These are the fogs that came on the c5 vette.
Just about done. I should have my hid kit in next week. I will take some output shots when im done. I painted the inside dx8 black since I accidentally hit the chrome reflector with my dremel. I could have left the inside chrome if I didnt do that.

I finished aiming the fogs today. Install was easy. I had to cut a little of the extra metal on the frame that kind of hangs off. The end of the bulb was hitting it a little.
I can only have the fogs on with the headlights. Cutoff is sharp and colorful. Overall the beam is pretty wide. Not the best, but definitely one of the best halogen projectors on the market. The cutoff slopes up on the passenger side, because I still have to do one final adjustment and turn the projector a little bit to make it sit straight. I actually kind of like it, because it lights up the right side of the road and doesnt blind other drivers. I tried taking a bunch of photos but they all turned out like crap. I will take some far away wall shots this weekend. This kit is 4300k and it makes the silverstar headlights look like yellow bulbs. Not bad for $120 and about 6 hours of my time.
