Default autolumination superstar LED's burn out?... POST IN HERE PLEASE

im going to try to get something done about this. my bulbs just burnt out after only about a month of use and the owner of autolumination will not refund me my $$ or send me a new set of bulbs. when we pay $7 or 8 a bulb we should get them "covered" under some sort of a warranty, especially if this is a common problem and to my understanding this is indeed a common problem with these.

so if you coudl please post up what color bulbs, even when they were ordered & how long before they burnt out and any other useful information i'm going to try to get us a new set of the revised & upgraded superstar bulbs or our money back.

As much as I understand your frustration and agony, let's hold off on any "nice" letters but if you feel like proceeding, go ahead.

I think the purpose of this thread might be to possibly help some of us get some kind of a refund or free replacement for the "upgraded" ones (if that is true or just a marketing ploy).

So by showing him, the owner of the company, the numerous amounts of people here with this issues, perhaps this thread might come of help without having to send letters and such.

yes, hak you hit the nail right on the head. i want to get a list of people that have had problems with these bulbs, then i will contact the owner again and see if we can get a resolution to this... especially if it's a re-occuring problem.

LEDs are not like halogen bulbs were you have to worry about the invisible oily residue/dirt left behind from our skin affecting the LEDs.

Heat does kill LEDs but touching them is of no big concern that I know of since there is no filament to "superheat".

Funny, I talk to them after mine burned out and told them what how many I've bought and so on. Well all I have to say is I have no hard feelings against them. They took care of me.... Makes me think how are you guys getting in contact with them. Plus what are you saying??? Hell are you guys even sending them an email??? That’s all I did and things got done...

Also, everyone that has had bulbs burn out. They where all 194 Super Stars, right? I think we all know they have problems and so do Auto...... That’s why they came out with the Wide Angle Super Stars. I’ve had mine in for about a month and they are doing great. They are as bright as when I installed them. Keep in mind that if your running your parking lights all day just because you like the look. It's burning them out faster- More built up heat the faster they will die. Also when using them there’s no need to have the dimmer switch all the way up. I have mine on the # 2 notch from the lowest setting and they are bright enough for anything. This should help with the heat... Like I said just give them a email and ask if there’s anything they can do for you. BE NICE... trusted me it works.

i didn't order these specific bulbs, but i did have the 194 wide angle red/blue's and two of them burned out in less than a month. i have never ordered led's from that place since. they charge too much for sub-par bulbs.
