ya, i just frown upon not being able to use standard bulbs that i could buy anywhere in a pinch.. But, I just got a response back from the company who makes the projectors, spare bulbs are only $18 bucks a pair, lol!

If I were to to the project again, i would buy the "h4" kit and adapt it to work since that kit uses regular d2s bulbs becuase the neck of the projector is a little bigger.

today im shooting the reflectors... then i just have to order some ballasts.

almost finished painting the chrome reflectors, seems that flat black is just too flat and chalky looking, and satin is too glossy, the best match for the black housing light surrounds is plastidip paint, its the perfect glossyness. plus its really durable stuff.

You can also just try painting with the satin form further away. That'll help cut the shine

LOL, I've been there. I tried doing some painting over the weekend and had similar issues (Same crappy weather here in Cleveland).

You can always just paint over them. That's what I did to my projector fogs.

good, its taking a little longer because i decided to shave and fill the slots where the bulb reflectors connect, i shaved them down with a dremel and just filled the holes with PC7 epoxy, its curing how, then sand,paint,assemble,.,.,
