I just got the projectors in, they look great! They are ALOT bigger then it seems in all the pictures, Looks like they will fill up the light bucket well, just like a regular retro.
the quality is very good too.
I'll get some pics up soon, just waiting on the blackhousing headlights to come in,
ordered last Tuesday and they still havent shipped yet, arrghh
Cant wait to get these lights going, if they put out a good beam this should be a pretty popular retro becuase its dead easy to do and the price if right.
Ok, started on these today, Im using the ebay black housing lights, they come apart really easy, oven on 200, turn it off, throw them in for 6-7 minutes.. The biggest pain in the ass is getting as much of the old glue off as possible..
Heres a few quick pictures I snapped with my iphone when i was doing to some test fitting, Im painting the reflectors satin black to match the rest of the housing, I think it will look much better, the wire hanging is for the hi/low solenoid and ccfl light, you you to drill a hole for this, but it wont bee seen.
a small pain, becuase you have to drill the reflector and then the housing and do a little snaking thru.. but it shouldnt be a big deal..
other than that, they fit nice and tight. Cant wait to get them finished and in, i still need ballasts.
Still not bad for the price,
$115 for the headlights,
$90 for the projectors
figure another $60 for ballasts,
then some glue..
no fabrication, all bolt in and still uses all factory seals, so hopfully I wont run into any condensation issues.

Considering how much work a normal retro takes, this is akin to aiming for the ground when you take a piss (read: about as simple as it gets ).
FYI, most condensation issues come from not sealing up the front. It's pretty tricky to do perfectly. I had to do mine a couple of times and the driver's side one still fogs up on rare occasion.
They look good Thanks for being the guinea pig for this product Can't wait to see 'em done and check out the output on them.
the only "issue" i can really see here is the bulbs, they are supposed to be D2s, but the bases are really slim to fit thru the neck.. so it might take some modding to replace them.
I think i was getting really friggin nervous about the bulbs, but look at this pic, this is a D2H bulb, looks like the bulbs for the projector is the same, just without the skirt on it, easy to mod.
