Check out the last pics of the ford explorer, its a wider shot of the beam and cutoff, its pretty impressive since they are a little smaller than the usual projector, and that is with 35watt bulbs, it would be really interesting to see the brightness and crisper cutoff of 55 watt bulbs/ballasts.

^^^ You know me, if I buy 'em they'll be in pieces in no time. I'll definitely post pics if/when I do for you.

55 watt bulbs dont make the cutoff crisper. These are made in China so there might be issues with the bowls getting damaged from 55 watts. I looked at the explorer pictures and still think they are too narrow. Its better than stock lights, but they dont compare to a true hid projector. I hope someone on here buyes them and can take a decent picture, and opens them up to take pics too.

At least the bowls are shiny. Better than the halo projectors used on all the aftermarket headlights on ebay. Not sure how the selenoid works from that picture. I wonder what would happen if a custom curved shield is installed or at least painted black.

I did find some more pictures with details of the hi/low solenoid, I just have to dig up the Urls again, its a really simple setup though.

The stock are posible to get open, they just take a little more time and effort than the depos.

Im ordering the kit in a few days, then a set of depos to put them in..
I think im going to run them at 55watt too they appear small but are the very close in diameter to Tl's and the like, the FJ guys seem to love the and it should be a huge improvement over stock.
