This seller is in LA, but this same kit can be found for around $150 bucks and comes with everything needed, think these would work decently mounted in stock housings?
These are supposed to be a "bolt on" retro of sorts. Never used them so I can't comment professionally on them as far as quality output etc... I know what I think about them personally though

they are very appealing since they are a complete kit, However It really doesn't show what exactly holds them into the stock housings. This kit and a set of black housings would be a pretty cost effective setup if they arent junk..
I need better light output, but I don't really want a whole project to do, it would be great to buy replacement black housings, heat them up, crack them open, open up the holes a bit with dremel, show the projectors in, glue them back up and go..

ok, I see how they work now,it looks like they are keyed and pop in just like a stock H4 bulb does, if they work like this, SWEET! but they must be pretty small at 8cm across, anything has got to be better than the stock headlights....

Hmm, I'm curious about the output. If it's decent then these may be a really cheap means by which to get some dirt cheap retros.
They do take regular 35w 6k hids, the only thing the kit dosent
include is the ballasts. So ya you basically heat up your lights, pop off the covers pop these in like mounting a bulb backwards, put covers on mount and wire, with highs/lows.
holy crap, check out this thread i found, this is on a FJ cruiser forum, these things have GOT to be 10 gazillion times better than Stock headlights, the install is a friggin piece of cake too!
