Default Anyone use silicone on their LED tails?

Just installed the black housing LED's on my flame red and man they look tight....just one question...anyone here use silicon to seal the clear to opaque pieces? I got them from Modern and the included tip sheet said to but, it was kind of generic towards clear sides, etc... so I didn't use any....anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks!

I got them from Modern Performance...they're a vendor here on the forum...I got em' for about $150 with free shipping...it's about the same the ebay ones are going for so it's a good idea to support our vendors here.

I've had mine for awhile with no problems.........just run a hose over them ant add some pressure to the hose with your thumb.......should be a good diagnostic for leaks......or just wash your car.......depo does a good job with sealing them up already.

Mine have been on a while without any fogging, leaking, etc. I haven't had any complaints on this yet.

I didn't use it either... 1 month and two weeks straight of rain (no joke) and no problem with them.

If you want those LED's go with 4headlights.com, they are very helpful and friendly and UPS was at my door with the lights within a few days.
