Question Anyone Have An Aftermarket Dome Light?

Anyone Have An Aftermarket Dome Light?

If you do, could you say what you using, and if any modifications had to be done.

I am looking to get something that is a LOT brighter than the yellowish bulb.

Thanks for your time!

Gabriel

PTPerformance was selling numerous colors of dome replacement bulbs. It's a 40-led replacement... I believe.

I vouche for PTP since I bought their blue dome light. It's a series of LEDs put together... it's brighter then the stock white and it looks really good with my blue dash

the bulb i have works great, but it didnt seem like it was an exact replacment for the stocker. I had to fold up some papre to wedge between the housing and the bulb to make sure it didnt move at all.

Since it was a led bulb you wanna make sure the side with the bulbs is facing down. Wedgin' the paper made sure it didnt rotate at all.

I also have the LED light board from ptperformance. I go the red one it is very bright. Plenty bright enough to see everything in the car. It is a very easy install and super easy to go back to stock if you so chose.

I installed my bulb a little while ago. Its alot whiter than stock. I will have to wait till it gets dark out to see how it really looks. I also noticed that it doesnt turn off completely. its pretty dim, but definetly not completely off when the doors are shut.
