Default to anyone doing led turn signals...

make sure you get the 3157 bulb with the SIDE FACING leds. otherwise you won't light up the reflector at all.

Screw the reflector...take about 25 steps back from those LEDS....from the side they're lasers...LOL. You're just standing too close to see what other people see....trust me, we tried these at a local meet and thought the same thing until we got back away as if we were in another car.

Also...get down to a seated level...not standing above them...these are DIRECTIONAL...but VERY bright.

I'll ask the manufacturer. Remember the LEDs I have are very directional...it's like the difference btween a lantern lighting a room, and a flashlight.

Mine should be arriving sometime this week. I got the 6ohm resistors, LED amber bumper lights and the 25-LED matrix bulbs from autolumination that have the LEDs along the sides designed to illuminate a reflector

you can fix the fast blinking with a 6ohm resistor. takes 5 minutes to mount it correctly and uses the snap-in connectors so its VERY easy to connect.

Yea, 4headlights, the turnsignal multi-led lights I got from you aren't that bright... Wondering if you have anything brighter, with a built in resistor so my lights don't blink so fast? lol

I don't understand the blinking fast. We put the 3157s in Hozay09's car and the 194 signals in Brian's car here at a meet (with 20 other local owners watching) and they worked normally.

Cybr....they ARE bright, I don't think you're looking at that correctly. These are a directional light so when you install them you can't view them like you would a normal bulb (I.E; standing directly above it looking down) because they don't produce an "Aura" of light. To see EXACTLY how bright they are you need to be looking at them as if you're seated in another vehicle.

i've had these LED corner lights that i bought from e-bay a while ago on my car. i painted the back of the LED housing blue and left the rest alone. the result: a blue non-lighting reflective housing and bright white turn signals. i've been stopped TONS of times and never once did the occifer mention the turn LED's. heres a pic for everyone.

This is what the load resistor itself looks like. You need to be sure to mount it to a piece of metal to dissapate the heat and make sure it is not in contact with anything that will burn or melt. These things heat up like a light bulb.

As for installation, this is all there is to it. Our cars will take the 3157 bulbs since those are built to flash for our turn signals. One snap-in connector goes on the ground wire, and the other snaps into the turn signal wire.

And then you're done. Throw the LEDs into the harness and you're all set.

As for making the reflector work, most LEDs are very directional, so foward facing LEDs will do just that - throw the light foward. For information about the bulbs I bought, and why, here is the link:
