4300k most yellowish of the hid's. Past that they get blue for awhile then straight up purple.

In the color spectrum the lower the kelvin (4300K) the closer to yellow. That said the higher the higher the closer to blue and then purple. 5400K is pretty much the white of sunlight. 4300K in HID lighting is very white and gives off more light (lumens) than higher color HID systems. The 5400K auxilliary kit that we have is less yellow (more blue) than our standard kits but has less light output, both are still about 3 times more light than halogen. In comparison, standard halogen headlights are about 3200K and Silverstar are about 4000K. As you get higher, as I said, you lose light output but also color recognition of the things on the road. Things are not as visible but you have the look that you want when people see your car.

I have the philips 4300K ultinons on my SRT4. If you would like pictures let me know.
They produce very white light and excellent visibility. No need for high beams at all. I do tend to get flashed every once in a while, mainly when going up a hill, but the glare is very minimal. I had a friend drive my car so i could look, and the glare wasn't bad at all. I think half the reason people flash is because they are not use to seeing such white light and ultimatley assume you have your brights on. The lights emit a yellowish light on the ground a short distance in front of the car, but it throws a very white light a long distance, and appear white to any oncoming traffic.
I am very happy i went with these lights over the 6000K ultinons.

the ultinons are the best looking hids, and you know your getting quality. I would be worried about the cops, because they owuld draw so much attention since our housings are reflective. I would probably stick with phillips lower kelvin rating hids.
