Default Another E-Bay projector question

Alright i know everyone on here is not too hot on the ebay pojectors. But, i got my set for free from a insurance job in a recent accident. my question is how do you align these damn things!! i spent about 6 hrs in a dark wharehouse the other day....i measured a distance of 25' away from a wall....marked the "cutoff" line and went from there. I still dont have them aligned right and at night i looks like a damn flashlight would have more output then these things. So basically how high does the "cutoff" have to be from the ground at 25' and how far apart should the center of both lights be apart???

HID's or the halogen bulb that comes with them? get a brighter halogen bulb or get HID's. The bulb that comes with them kinda sucks. I read in an HID thread that when adjusting them at 25' away, the "cutoff" line should be 2-3 inches lower than the headlamp projector itself. I don't know if that would be the same for halogens as well. For how far apart do they need to be apart, I would think the same distance as the projectors are apart on the car. I got HID's on mine and the light output is waaaay better than the halogens they came with. Is it as good as a retrofit? No. But acceptable for now till I retrofit some HID projectors in either these housings or my oem ones.
