Default Announcement about my custom tails. They are no longer available

I would like to say that its been a fun little time modding these tails for a better and custom look. However, I will no longer be taking in any orders for these tails. Its just too much effort and labor involved in doing this for so little money I make. Its just not worth it and its slowing down my main focus, HID retros. Maybe at a later time when I work out of the house full time that I can start taking on multiple different jobs like tails and retros. For now, I'm going to only be doing headlight retros from here on out. So for those few that bought my tails, I thank you and if there is ever a issue, I'll do everything in my power to resolve it so don't worry if there is ever a issue. I'll take care of you. These things take alot of time and labor to get them done. That is time taking away from my true love, headlight retros and the customers that have ordered headlight retros come before my tail light people so this is causing a conflict of my work flow. Until I'm 100% working on my own with just my Lucent Performance business and no longer working for "the man", I will have to cease taking in any future orders from here on out.

I want to personally thank those of you that got a set of these or are having a set made. Its guys like you that are into making their car stand apart from the crowd that I truelly respect. Being different is a damn good thing these days so I commend you on buyign something that truelly sets your SRT4/neon apart from the norm.

-Hak

Yeah it is too bad. I was really liking the way they were looking and all but priorites come first and thats the retros and you guys who have paid for them. To much time for too little is what is exnaying the tails from my line-up of products at this time. They will be avaialbe at a later time I'm sure, just not for now or the immediate future.

Hopefully I can leave my career job within a few months and begin to really crank down and focus on getting my shop up and going full time. I hate working for the man. Much rather be a entrepreneur. Working two jobs and working until the wee hours of the night, sometimes morning, takes a toll on me. Since I enjoy working for myself more, a career working for someone else is not what I have ever planed to do with my life. I like making my own hours and doing my own thing.

Are we saying my SRT-4 is the only car in the country with black LEDs ...

Sucks to hear that Kenny, but I know how much time it takes you to do this work. You did it for practically nothing for me and I thank you. Just to let everyone know it does take him a really long time, and he holds himself liable for breaking the lens. His work his great and he's a great guy as well. Buy his retros!

DO NOT BUY FROM ICEMAN! Charged for CAI June 31, 2004, got product months later, & returned CAI due to fitment issues October 5. Never recieved my refund. I was told that the refund was not processed b/c I spoke out against them. Iceman gave no response to my BBB complaint (http://www.srtforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=104420).

Thanks for the kind words David and this man was there with me while i did his. He was there to see first hand how much is involved.

Unfortunatly I hate to be the one to bust your bubble but there is two other black ones that are out there than yours . However, you were the first with them so you have that going for you

Yes folks, buy the retros. Retro retro retro haha

Thats why i got into real estate. I wouldnt have it any other way than working for myself. If i wasnt doing this, then I would own a business or something. I cant stand having someone tell me when to work and how much money I make.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!

People, forgive me for saying this but...Hak, charge more for the tails. How much would you have to charge to make producing these worth your while? I was planning on getting some in the future so please don't abandon the product completely.

yeah, this dissapoints me...I was really wanting a pair of your tails to go with my retros. Maybe in a while you'll start them back up again. Charge more for them, I know I'd understand getting a CUSTOM piece done costs $$$

Well I'm kinda glad you guys understand why I'm dropping out from doing the tails. Its mainly the money but the time frame is the other concern since these things take more time than I'd like to work on them for the $$ involved. Perhaps when I leave my other job and devote myself full time to Lucent Performance, then I will start doing these again for you guys. I like doing them but its come to my attention that it just isn't paying off. I've broken lenses throughout this project and that gets very expensive having to buy a whole new set of tails just to get a lens off of it.

If these do come back out from me, they will be more expnsive.

Ok, stop talking and get to work:cracks whip:..JK...I'll say one thing. It takes a stand up guy to admit that the money isn't worth compromising the quality that he is known for. You can threads all over the place where people are angry and throwing insults at vendors because the vendor has bitten off more than they can chew. Man, am I glad I passed on the stage 1 to get these tails before the Feb. sale ran out. I was going to just get the stage 1 and pay the extra for the tails later on. Good thing I didn't. I will be getting a pair of retros but that is in the distant future. Like sometime during the winter. Once we run out of daylight savings. I need to get stage 1, sts, and an exhaust and then I need to get something good for my wife's B-day as it is her 30th
