Default After much torment: QW HID 8k

In person they really arnt how they look in the pic at all. In person they are just really really white. In pictures it looks almost purplish. Install confused me a bit but i got eR done. Im pleased, drove around and visibility was excellent. It actually looked like i had my lights on this time. No matter what anyone says it was all i could afford. Lets the flames/hatting begin

This is how someone elses QW 8k looks like, mine looks nothign like that, it looks like 6k did i get jacked?

In that last pic, it doesn't even look like a Dodge neon headlight. Stock or HID, there should be a "U" over each beam in the center, just as yours have and every other Dodge Neon has....

Well, you know what I'm gonna say but at least you got what you wanted.

No, they look like they would piss me off. I would throw rocks at your car if I had to see that crap......back up the car about 20 feet and lets see which way the beam goes (I bet it goes up like a high beam, not down like a low beam).......I can't stand when people think it's so cool to do what you did......it really does hurt peoples eyes.

have a freind of yours swap cars at midnight and drive towards eachother from about 1/2 mile away.......you'll hate yourself for blinding everyone.

I'm not gonna plug anyones lights over what you have done, but really, do something about it.....

Hak, do they make a casper style sheild for these lights?

That would be a great venture for someone to undertake, make sheilds for every light available, that way, when you put a kit into your factory reflector housing, you really are getting better performance and you're not blinding everyone.

I don't make any because I never mess with kits.

But typically casper shields are made for H4 guys but its nothing that can't be made for 9007 guys. The turkey baster or aluminum can trick is a easy thing to make.

I just slapped on a set of Prolumens 6k in my car. Only because I had them sitting in my trunk and received another set for a customer under warranty. They're no where near as bad as those but also nowhere near as good as projector's.

When Hak finally goes on his 6hr vacation and back to work, i'll be on his list.
