Default 893 ST Fog Lights going bad...

It is well after the bad batch of 893ST fogs and mine still die after about 2 weeks to a month of use.

Has anyone had them last longer than a month or longer than 2 or 3 months or more? Do you use your fogs during all driving conditions or only durring foggy or night driving conditions?

Has anyone requested an exchange direct from Sylvania on the 893ST bulbs, and had them last longer than 2-3 months or more?

Basically I'm asking whether or not I should send mine back to Sylvania for a refund or for an exchange of new (possibly better quality) bulbs...

Thanks for the input.

My passenger side fog just went out ... received them 06/04 . Like you stated these were suppose to be the ones where the problems were corrected . I will have to contact Sylvania for a replacement .
I've read of others that are using a different mfg.'s bulb w/o these kinds of problems ... might want to do a search (fog light[s])for that mfg .

I just spoke w/ customer service they stated " These are only for foggy conditions and are rated for 100hrs of use ... so if you you them daily (ex. 1hr a day = 100 days) they will not last but about 3-5 mo." .
I use to use my fogs the same way I use these on my older car, and they were still working when I got rid of it after 2 yrs (110,000mi.) these were the original bulbs .
So if you don't use them ... they should last a long time ... LOL !
