How patient must we be for headers?

how about a crash bar that fits over the AGP i/c that isn't so...well, ugly...i mean, its nice to have a big FMIC showing in the grille, but then to put the huge square bars in there with the diagonal thingee on it, it's just kinda not pleasing to the eye at all....

There is no room left to put any thing in there. They did not think of that when they designed it. thanks willy

i understand the space issue, but i know it can be done because i have seen a few SRTs that had a custom crash bar made that fits over the front of their AGP IC that dont look bad at all...would it be feasible for you to make one that uses the same brackets to bolt it in and then just used one high strength steel tube that goes in front of the IC righ along the top so it is still hidden by the front bumper cover? like, below the nostrils, but above the IC hole? knwo what i mean? something that would curve out around the IC...wouldnt have to be sturdy enough to withstand a crash, just enough to tie the front end back together...

i've put in a few of the AGP intercoolers and have seen that there barely is enough room for a front bumber support beam etc..

CTI desinged theirs for structural rigidity and it doesnt show when used with their FMIC. It's a very high strength piece.

I would need a car with the intercooler to see what can be done . With out the bottom bar you loose a ton of strength.
