Default Samco hoses and CTI FMIC?

Just installed the CTI FMIC and the cold side Samco hose would not in any stretch of the imagination attach to the FMIC, or to the throttle body if I connected the FMIC connection first. Seemed almost as if the piping from the cold side of the CTI FMIC didn't come past the PCM enough. Has anyone had this problem? I eventually got the stock cold hose on, but that damn thing is screaming it's on there so tight. There is a lot of tension on it for sure.

That's not fun, but no, I haven't had any issues with mine. My AGP LPP & UPP fit fine, as did the stock hoses as well. By chance your FMIC is sitting flush against the the back right? (just a thought as to why it wouldn't go back far enough past the PCM)

What fmic did you have before the CTI unit? Was is a perfect fit with that? Are you on the stock TB also?

I have stock throttle body and prior to this, stock FMIC. The CTI FMIC bracket is backed up all the way against the frame, as the bolts are tightened down.
