3" OČ housing... Aluminized steel or Stainless steel?

Hi Willy,

I have a big question for you! The 3" OČ housing for stock turbo... Aluminized steel or Stainless steel choice? What's the best and why? Some exhaust master like the flex of Stainless one, other one talk about the toughness of the aluminized one... What's your point about those two choice's?

I want a CTI for sure but wich one...? Help me!

The stainless steel can take more heat before it starts to break down depending on what number stainless around 1700 degrees if you had that temp at your o2 the last thing on your mind will be the o2. The turbo and your valves and pistons would be gone and the stainless is a harder material which expands and contracts more than plain steel when heated and cooled and more expensive. The aluminized will break down at a lower temp 1500 again there would be damage to other parts first. The aluminized is made to slow down the rusting of the metal and less expensive and does not expand as much as stainless. The o2 is up out of the water and salt from the roads and gets hot really fast after start up which slows down rusting. It is personal preforence. The stainless will last longer
