That takes a special child. Any parent out there can attest, the attention span needed for that type of training is amazing for a child to posses. I've seen it only one time in my 10 plus years in martial arts.

Honestly there's plenty of time for that kind of shit. Let the kid be a kid.
I can assure you, at that age no one is forcing him to do that. I feel the same way as you. You only get to be a kid once, so you might as well enjoy it. That said, the kid may just love to do it and probably does. Most adults dont have that type of concentration or work ethic to acheive those results let alone a child.
It not the physical feats or strength that astonishes me, its the will power involved to do those things.
