My Panasonic 42" has an incredible picture, and they use a proprietary cell technology that helps prevent burn-in a LOT more than many other brands. My brother accidentally left a movie paused for an hour and the screen was just fine. Also, some people with other brands (like Pioneer) who play games have complained about HUD burn-in, but I play Halo 3 quite a bit and haven't had one problem.
