Default Who knows their ish about TVs? Black friday coming up..

Im looking to pick up a wall-mount 40-50" TV.

Has to be HD, and black which most are. Recommendations? Input?

Ive done alot of looking at BestBuy, seems there are some in the $2000+ range that look little to no better than a $1000 one.

I only have about $1000, and black friday is coming up soon, hoping to find a good deal.

EDIT: Btw, I am a HUGE samsung fan.

There is a website i think it's like blackfriday.com, but you can't find anything.

I think last year we knew earlier than this what the deals were gonna be.

Ship my wheel and i'll send you the ad...

keep an eye on slickdeals.net and fatwallet.com and hot-deals.org, they usually have someone that posts the BB and CC ads up the week before.

My Panasonic 42" has an incredible picture, and they use a proprietary cell technology that helps prevent burn-in a LOT more than many other brands. My brother accidentally left a movie paused for an hour and the screen was just fine. Also, some people with other brands (like Pioneer) who play games have complained about HUD burn-in, but I play Halo 3 quite a bit and haven't had one problem.
