Default Where would one post a build thread here?

Well? I've been busy the last 2 weeks and thought it'd be neat to show what I've been up too.

These are a couple days old.

Oh Hi. I'm Napoleon. For some reason I can't close my hood.

Oh this is why.

Still a ways to go

Seems to keep the angles acceptable for the trailing arm

SRT fuel tank and pump.

Just threw the neon tires on tonight. I think I may need to cut the control arms and thread a turnbuckle for it to get the right camber. It may settle once the car moves. I also have to bend the filler neck a bit.

My fancy subframe mounts that took 3 days.ops: Keep in mind those cross bolts have no load, the just squeeze the mounts to keep from shifting.

Everybody said that mounting a SRT subframe couldn't be done without cutting it up. Well there it is, done. That is the SRT frame rail that is blocked and bolted there.

The motor is high and ahead too. I'm just waiting on a bolt I lost to come in to mount it right.

Since then I've mounted SRT pedals, 1 gen dash bars, and figured out the motor was 1 inch to the drivers. I have a 1/2" chunk of aluminum to slide it over. If I had only ground down the mount on the inside, not evenly.

Today was wiring, did I mention?

I hate wiring.

Stopped early because of rain today though, so wiring is not done.

Car is a s3 car made 350/370 on pump at wheels. It'd cost me more to beef up 1st gen stuff.

Any questions I will answer.

"The People" in the First Amendment means The People; "the People" in the Fourth Amendment means The People; but "the People" in the Second Amendment (ratified in 1791) means the National Guard (created by an Act of Congress in 1903)?

SRT was mine. Bought back from insurance for 3k. Most of it is a few tools I needed, 500 bucks I'd say. Needed a 16mm x 2 tap, had to buy 90 dollar set. (or 30 bucks for 1 tap) 17/32 drill bit. New drill bit set, 80 bucks. Borrowed friends grinder, but I broke it, 75 bucks. 50 bucks in grinding wheels. Welding done by a guy I work for that's licenced, free. (About 1 hour TOTAL). Neon was 5 bills. Sold that many parts over winter. Repaired wheel, 150. Repainted a couple others, 50. 5 pass 26" M&H slicks, 200. Need steelies 50. 1 bent rear control arm. Had to cut off both and replace about 150 bucks. 2 rear struts, 50 bucks. (mine were bent.) Various bolts, 50 bucks. Most I didn't end up using. I changed subframe ideas 7 times. Mag Protractor$, dropped car and fucked some jackstands day one$. 60 bucks in steel, most I didn't use. (better to have extra.)

I think I spent more on gas and food. It's 1:15 round trip to car.

The 2 door rear discs are the same as ours. Saved money there and swapped over my brakes. My hubs and bearings were done!
