Is it true a 700 HP SRT-4 can keep up with a 1200 HP Viper?

Maybe the usable power band on the Viper sucks ass until they get deep into the 120+MPH mark?? 1200HP is A LOT more power. And it's on a car with better gearing, drag, wider tires, etc.
it's like dropping your pants, reaching around with both hands and opening up your a** cheeks and then just rubbing your a**hole all over something.carlos nice
There is noway! 800whp skittle couldn't catch traction till over 100mph. 400 rwhp difference, fairly light car with great aerodynamics. and 180ish MPH? well, that sounds like another BS but i guess with that power it might happen.
and here is the BIGGEST BS on this story:

for you not to be able to see their taillights, you must have been at least a few miles back. they were at 180ish mph and lets say you are at what? 150mph+? thaen they would have been a few couple busses in front of you and let alone the taillights, you can easily see the cars.
here is a video of a pullied cobra (120-123mph car) against a 700-800whp supra(I remmeber owner saying that somewhere). now supra pulls on cobra easily and cobra hits 160mph and the supra is a couple busses away and I assume it was around 180+mph. well guess what, you can easily see the supra ahead.

we held a viper dyno day not to long ago and I played with one making 780 with a supercharger and built motor (note: not making the numbers he was capable of making...1200 plus) and he didnt pull on me a bit. i was making 360 at the time. dont 4get powerband, traction, and gearing plays a big factor with them.

Well the ONLY 800hp skittle around here is being parted out last time I checked, and the viper is most likely Hollywood. I highly doubt this even being real, but if it is then proof would be nice. I'd just bet my money that the skittle never raced hollywood.

Anything can happen I guess.
I agree the viper has better aerodynamics and possibly better gearing, but the N-SRT4 is capable of 235 MPH stock bodied/stock transaxle/big turbo'd built engine. The following link proves it.... RaceDeck Racing Race Deck Racing has the Fastest 4cyl Production Vehicle on the Planet.

what do you consider better aerodynamics? the viper has a higher cd, but less lift.

That is nowhere near the norm. Impressive to be able to go that fast at all, but it's far from ordinary. Far from a speed you'll see 99.9999% of SRT's come close to reaching. I don't think it applies in this situation with a Viper that should easily outclass the SRT anyway.
