BTW maybe if the natives learned proper farming tecniques and animal husbandry they would have fared a little better. Slash and burn farming was and is still practiced by the poor brown people around the world. Forests in Europe and North America are healthy and growing while the rain forests are being destroyed. Maybe we did the world a favor by taking the new world in order to preserve it.

I liked that fix up a beat up car and the original owner wants it back analogy. But anyway Mexicans are citizens of the country of Mexico nothing more nothing less. I saw something where the whites didn't bring over all diseases. They explored lots of areas and picked up things from the islands and infected areas where they were destined to go anyway from the indigenous people trading with each other. Did whites make things worse? Yes. White people came to new world and died left and right catching things they were not immune to either. No condoms!

Technically the bold statement is inaccurate. Look up the history of Spain and you will find that the Moors invaded and occupied Spain for quite some time. It would be foolish to think that integration did not occur. I always bring up this point when someone call someone from Spain white.

trust me I know history and I am sure there was intergration as I have already talked about in another thread, but the majority of spainards consider themselves white as do the greeks/italians and the various eastern european countries. Fuck look at some white southerners ever wonder where bubba got that flat nose/curly hair or dark eyes from? They are still considered white as well. So you are being a bit foolsih about what is and is not white. that and newsflash the moors were still caucasion anyways.
