get something with a remote.. cause it seems like your gonna be running alot... that way it will be lighter for you..
I just picked up a ICD BKO pretty cheap and also bought a 68ci/4500 HPA tank for a good price.
Ill be looking into a pod holder for extra paint and maybe a pack that also holds a tank and pick up a remote along with it. Now to buy the ups for the gun... Dropforward w/ on/off, barrel....
The gun I had was a spyder.
The first time I played paintball was in the ninth grade at a paintball park, was my older brother's best friend's birthday party. I got shot point blank with an angel 4 times (i was out of ammo and air...just sitting there with my plug in the gun)...the last one almost hit me in the head, luckily i got my arm up in time but i still have a faint scar on my hand from where it hit. i thought my brother and his friend was gonna beat the guy's ass especially after they pulled my mask and hat off to check my head and started flipping out screaming "oh shit oh shit! i didn't know she was a girl!!" like that matters at all male or female id be just as dead or retarded if it'd hit me there.
Tippmann X7 with response trigger, collapsable stock, 14" barrel, vortex mod and lightning rod mod.
i don't really play much. when i did it was woodsball. now i just go out and shoot targets in the back yard for shits and giggles.

so...Sicks > Navy SEALs
I <3 you two
I've been playing here and there with some friends... I've got a crappy VL from Wal-Mart that was given to me as a B-day gift about a year ago. But I've only ever used it on field once... usually I use a friends back up marker.
I'm planning on getting something new this summer... I'm going back and forth between an A-5 E-grip or a Spyder MR2 with fast hopper... either gun would get a better barrel before anything else... There are no real fields anywhere near me (nearest good field is a few hrs away) so I won't be playing as much as I'd like so I'm not gonna drop a grand on a marker... fuck that.
Last time I played I used a friends Automag with Dye Ultralight barrel... It was hard to miss with that fucker!!! That day was the most fun I've had playing PB... mostly because it was the first time I played with a marker that shot straight...
I've decided that whatever I end up buying it will be blowing paint through one of those barrels!!

look close... after he takes the head shot that whipped his head back he takes a shot in or close to the stones... that’s why he dropped like that...
so you know how a ball that bounces stings more that one that breaks?... well my first time on a field I had a ball hit me square in the left nut and bounce... a sec after that I bounced off the ground almost as bad as that kid
it was such an indescribable gut wrenching pain that I almost vomited inside my mask... it was over a year ago and to this day my stomach knots a little thinking about it... I crawled back to the shop bathroom to take inventory of my meat and taters... and without getting too graphic... lets just say my left nut was actually "squishy".. I thought it was ruptured or something and I was gonna have to go to the doc and have it cut out... But I'm able to report all is now well in man land...
But I vowed to NEVER set foot on another field until I had purchased a nut buddy... And I'd advise anyone else thinking of playing to get one as well... best $10 you'll ever spend for the field. I've felt many rounds bounce off it and not a bit of pain.
I used to paintball alot too bro, Havnt in 3 years, used to own a ridculously custom spyder that I dumped some money into as a backup gun and my main gun was an ANS GXe... (autococker w/ electric trigger) nearly went pro, was invited to play with a team and try out that played in the NPPL, they wernt anything big, never really made it up top but the opportunity was there. I miss it, but money is to tight for me to drop another 1k on a marker and then 80$ for a case of paint plus N2 fills etc etc...
today is just a dab in it every now and again with either rental gear or borrowed sheet... but nothing major... its snowboarding for me all the time meow cause my rides locked up and a million miles away...

Should of bought my BKO! (I replaced that ugly scratched up feed neck since this picture was taken, which was probably 4 years ago).
Remotes suck (its also rare to find a good pack that is x+1). If you dont want a lot of weight, get a 45/45 tank.
I only play in the woods, sometimes in a clearing. I'm firing a Spyder Electra. It's an e-marker, up to 13 bps. I have a 16" barrel, it works pretty good for my needs.
If I am ever able to play more, I am going to convert it to low pressure and get the board that lets it shoot about twice as fast.
Buy your stuff online. I was laughing at my two friends that got their stuff at a local shop. One got a mechanical gun and the other got an earlier model e-marker, as well as all the gear they needed. I got a combo deal online where I picked out my gear. I got my gun and ALL accessories for the price that the gun cost at the store.
