I guess it gets boring playing the same game for almost a year...

Nah, theres always somebody doing stuff like this. Theres guys who arrange jeep races in Warhawk, never have taken part, might someday

There was a classic one in WOW I heard of, a bunch of players staged a funeral thingie in WOW for a player who had died in real life. Big deal, a lot of people attended this thing. Well, sure enough, a few folks ambushed this sombre gathering and slaughtered them all, down to the last fairy

I have not heard about the jeep races in Warhawk. That's funny. It's also fun to teabag someone after you kill 'em and listen to their comments. Some folks get upset.

I don't mind the high school stuff like that. It's fun to do especially among friends who are playing.

It's the cussing and threatening from idiots who are mad when you're not playing by their rules. "Get out of that fucking plane and come down here and fight on the ground." It's a game for goodness sake and I think it's supposed to be a free-for-all in death matches.

I'm not sophisticated enough for pc games. I'll stick with the PS3. I'm lucky to have enough knowledge to even turn the damn thing off and on.

Doesnt bother me, set up your server, have fun. No skin off my nose. I dont have to be affected by it if choose not to get involved. And, as a bonus that can be used during actual battle, this sort of thing could raise up a better class of drivers.


I'm much more unhappy with cursing and calling people names, no point. There was a guy the other day, just laying into the team. "You all suck, you need to go get eh flag, idiots" "Why dont you fools wake up and protect our flag".

Now, the things he was saying were correct, there were a lot of folks just randomly doing stuff, no concerted effort. I told him, in a nice tone, "You know, yelling at folks isnt going to get them to listen".

Amazingly, after that, he started asking specific folks to do specific stuff, like "Bill, can you cover me from the air", "Bob, wanna grab that tank as we pass and fall in behind". And people started listening, and we did better.

i was kind of including the name calling and language under the same umbrella

you just dont get a lot of that on pc games. in fact, you dont get much of anything aside from discussion about the game itself

That's what I'm saying. Without ever playing pc games I know that the atmosphere would be different. You'll have, for the most part, better and more serious gamers on pc.

That's why I'll stick to the PS3 because I suck and I can goof off. By the end of the week Warhawk, a game glhs837 and I play, is supposed to have a new vehicle and new map(s). That means I'll have another vehicle to crash and burn and a different place to get slaughtered.
