Bulk up = Mark Rippetoes program. You need nothing else.
I use ON whey protein. Only chocolate. All others taste like shit.

whey protein is definitely the shit! so are myoplex protein bars, peanut butter, & tuna right out of the package(gross but it works)....
my only problem is, right when i start to notice a difference i get tired of it and quit

Like I said, Rippetoes program is all you will ever need to bulk up. I gained almost 50lbs in less than a year (some fat obviously, but 90% muscle). I honestly couldn't believe how fast I bulked up.
