The way I see it we've gone from being a semi socialist state with little rights... to a nation of slaves working for royalty, overnight. Seriously is there a better description anyone?
yeah... I think we'd have seriously been much better off just going into a great depression. Now we're going to have at most a couple of years of stagnation, then much, much worse problems than we have now... and there is no way to ever get around it now. We just boosted the world economy and sent ours to shit.
No kidding. And if anybody wants to "rebel", big brother is listening and watching and before you even get to meet with your fellow revolutionaries the next thing you'll know you're behind bars and there won't be any trace of you.

America = lost
that's one way to look at it.
OR, you can look at it a different way. See the world now for the great investment opportunity it is. Just open up a scottrade account

Do that in the streets of Manhattan to the thugs who screwed this country and I'm willing to bet that they'd hop on their Gulfstreams and will be on the other side of the globe by night fall.
Like hell you'd ever put anyone from this administration in front of that firing squad!
I bet Karl Rove or Phil Gramm are clamoring to get to the front of the line
I don't get why taxpayers are paying for the mess ($700 Billions)
The average bonus for wall street employee (front, middle, back office) is about $200,000. We should withhold the bonus/company's profit to pay back for the $700 billion dollars. Withhold them for the next 20 years.
The keyword is responsibility. Owning up to the problem they cause. Over the 10 years, the total wall street bonuses (US, Europe, Asia) is probably over $700 billions.
Write to your state senators, congressmen /women, etc.

yeah,.. but but but.... trickle down economics! if we take from the rich, it'll trickle down to us anyway, so the proper move is to cut out the middle man!
that way, only us average americans get hit! i mean come on, we were gonna get it either way.. why inconvenience the rich too?
