$700 billion bail out? WTF?

To all sound and sane mental people.. go shoot your senator right now. Why you ask, because if anyone senator approves this you might as well hang up every owning anything.

Let me explain:

If the goverment does this bail out of $700 billion its going to set us back 100 years money wise. There will have to be huge tax increases, there will be levys on your house, you will never get a tax return EVER, you will be bailing out those that got to keep there millions while throwing the USA into trillions of bad debt that we the resposible people will have to pay back.

Why do the CEO's and board of directors get to keep there money, houses, boat, cars, stripper chicks, and ????. Why I ask you? Because they are the ones that fund there senators and presidential candidates, thats why. You, me, your kids, your wife, your parents, ect ect have to pay for the bad decisions that other people made. What a fucking joke! When will the insanity end? Not till everyone in the US that gives a damn and says enough is enough. The goverment is trying to stave off a recession or even better a depression. They had better stop because by doing this its only extending the inevatable (sp).

Until the goverment goes after those that caused the problem the we the tax payers are going to have to pay for it. More or less were all screwed because there is not a good candidate running and everyone that is currently in office wants to keep thier job. So its a double edged sword that no one is going to win.

I am just in here to rant but the current situation is not looking good for anyone who works for a living. There are to many broken systems in the US right now (SS, Medicare, ect) that tring to just fix one is going to rape tax payers.... now we have to fix all of them?

I don't think that the US is a horrible place we are just letting the criminals get away with stealing and I wish I could steal from the tax payers, keep the money and then turn around and ask the goverment to help me out with..... you guessed it, more money. Its a joke if you ask me.

I am in TOTAL agreement with you OP.

The reason why this is a bullshit course of action is this:

What is happening is how capitalism WORKS. When these huge collapses occur it's how the natural process of capitalsm levels the playing field and allows new players to enter the market, people with better ideas, and it teaches a LOT of people a lesson about how NOT to take care of their finances, mainly (and this is aimed right at a lot of you, so listen up) if you have more than 5,000 in unsecured credit card debt, or you are more than 1 month behind on your mortgage payment, you are the problem.

The banks, I have no sympathy for them, their 29% interest rates on credit while not giving more than 4% on a savings account, then they wonder why people can't pay them back, then they continue to fucking offer people credit card offers even when their credit is shitty.

The government paying this shit off does nothing but prolongs the inevitable. Big companies only care about 'next quarter's' profits, and are not planning for the future. They will fire half the work force to show what basically amounts to a fake profit (all that new 'revenue' from no longer having to pay employees) for the quarter, to make the greedy shareholders happy, they don't care about the company itself, they care about their own greedy portfolios, and their golden parachute clauses that give them 3 million when they get fired, only to move on to another company and screw them over.

If this buyout goes through, instead of a shake up, get ready for the wrecking ball in the next couple of years. Massive taxes to repay this debt, and the same thing happening again to all the banks, not good.

This is basically turning us into socialists.

2050, damn your giving I am saying 2015. With the way things are going all the gold reserves are going to have to be sold in america to recover from this. When the dust settles and I am guessing around 2010 we will be backwards 3 trillion additional dollars. We will have more illegal imigrants, we will have more on SS and there will be an increase of 12% on Medicare.

I can only see 2 fixes for this. Tax the illegal imigrants or make illegal drugs now legal and tax the hell out of those. Or it might take both to recover from this. No idea but I feel that doing one of the above would help.

Vote for someone else on the list. Serious, we wouldn't be that worse off with someone else.

McCain will not get my vote for that fact alone. Osama is going to win more likely then not but he will be killed with in the first year of office so we need to look at his VP and what his agenda is.
