How many of our country's problems could be solved – and solved quickly – if politicians were more worried about what is good for our country rather than how to protect their positions of power?

ALL OF OUR POLITICIANS ARE CORRUPT MOTHERFUCKERS!

They have all been bought by the oil cartels. Kicking them out of office is the only way to get around this.

High gas prices is great. Less SUVs and less poor people on the road clogging up traffic. Getto dwelling democrats will be forced to take mass transit which will bring in more money for growth. More fat obese people will be forced to walk or ride a bike.

It's a win win situation.

How is it a win win? Cus shit like that bothers you? Youd rather pay 5$ a gallon then 2$ like we used to pay then deal with big SUV's and "Idiots" on the road???

News flash the idiots and SUV's are still there...

you're fucking retarded.

I agree the politicians are corrupt and have been bought out. Why else would they not support drilling in areas WE KNOW have oil? The more we suffer and pay rediculous prices for gas the more money they make and its fucking retarded.

here is the deal. the idiots will still have money to drive, so they drive a prius instead. now, instead of driving their big old truck fast, they drive their prius 15mph below the speed limit...which seems to be common place with these retarded prius drivers. im going to start running these douche bags off the road

now now smoger. not everyone can be as intelligent as you and i. we see that when people cant afford to drive to work the economy stops functioning. they see it as if everyone else cant afford gas but the magic turbo-neon fairy will bless them with enough money so they can keep modding and driving fast

There are FEWER suvs out there now than when gas < $3/gallon and if you refuse to acknowledge that, then you're fucking blind or just a liar by nature.

Nearly all suv & pick up truck drivers drive ALONE. They're consuming about double the amount of fuel the normal car drivers use. The more fuel we consume, the more we'll be in the mercy of the raghead oil.

More people taking public transit, more money going into public transit.

People who drive without insurance because they can't afford it will only stop driving since now they can't afford gas.

I'm willing to pay $5 - $7/gallon if it means better traffic flow, less reliant on raghead oil, no more 25ft long 4 ton land barges with only one idiot inside the otherwise empty vehicle.

The only time the wife and I drive alone is when we are going to work. She works less than 5 miles from work and I live approx 25 miles from work. As of last week, we are only putting in $50 a week in the truck and $75 a week in the Durango.

I think I know how to lower gas prices...

First:
We should attack a Country and Oust the political regime
prejudice to women.

Next:
We should go on a "Peace keeping mission" and oust a tyrant
leader.

Then:
When we have another very well known country in the middle,
attack THAT country from both fronts.

Oh......Wait.
