Default 3" downpipe to Borla/Mopar adapter to cat-back

I'm just wondering if (and where) I need to cut anything on the 2.5" Mopar/Borla cat-back so that it mates perfectly with the Maxxfab adapter/downpipe. I didn't receive the directions in the mail. Please advise as soon as possible. Thanks!

Cut it just after it transitions from 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 inches.

Email me for a request for instructions if you need them. They should have been attached to the email that contained the shipping information.

I'm still having trouble. Can you send me a picture of what it's supposed to look like? From the downpipe, I have that adapter thing with the triangular flange. Then, on the other end of the adapter unit is that sleeve looking thing. The 2.5" mopar exhaust has a sleeve looking thing on the side that it's supposed to meet with the adapter unit. In fact, both sides of that section of the borla exhaust have that sleeve feature. Anyway, if there's a picture available somewhere, please let me view it! Thanks.

The Mopar section is supposed to have both ends flanged. It's a slip-fit system. The resonator should be further towards the back of the car if that helps you determine what end to cut. Do as Scott said and cut just after the restriction once you've got the pipe in the right direction. It should bolt up perfect.
