Default Why are the old threads being deleted?

Dale why are you deleting all the 2005 posts? There are a lot of great pictures and info in those.

The old event is gone.

Other than the name (which will finally be accurate), there is very little in common with the previous events.

I looked at every thread before deleting it, nothing worth saving, that had any relevance to the 2006 event, was deleted.

This part of the website is about the 2006 Nationals event, information about the 2005 (and 2004) event will serve no purpose other than to confuse the new people who look here for information about the 2006 event.

I for one had a blast at Nationals 2005 and see nothing wrong with a great weekend of racing. If people can't understand how to read a calander then i sure don't want them on a race track next to, or behind me. But ........ whatever.

The 2006 event is a completely different event

So does that mean when the new 2007 srt4 comes out that all neon srt4 info will be deleted from this web site because it no longer pertains to the new one? Wouldn't want anyone to get confused you know. Look to the future without forgetting the past.

Guys I can understand wanting to keep people from getting confused about the 2006 Nats and the past ones. The posts are all still in storage. I''m helping to work out a solution. We may have a past events section for keeping the memories alive. At least the ones we want to remember.

I agree, Greg Just because its not for the NEW event, people who never went to the years past need to see what went on. This may make someone want to go to the Next years event.

If they don't know, they won't go.

We are going to go to another method where you just put them in your signature. See mine above. The icons mess up alot of other features when used. Copy mine and paste it in your sig.

Problem solved. History is saved and no confusion with the great events to come. Thanks Dale. I'll start getting the old threads back soon.
