Damn... I don't know how you do it each year. I can't get time off work or I would like to go, but I have to be honest. I am still dreading the day I have to leave Alaska and drive out of here with my SRT. I am definately going to look for the easiest way out.
This makes it official. I WILL be there. I'll be using this thread from now until the end of my trip.
Sweet, and I'll be part of your trip again .... but this time I'm accually going
It's a guaranteed good Time, Ron. And you have a family to share it with. so glad you can be a part of it.

Jerod, I am by no means of the word "wealthy". I am however old enough to know that I have not had time off in the summer since 1975, meaning I have had to work to survive, for the most part. It is time to start injoying life and not be so worried about survival.
I have given 25 summers to SPC, It's time they give a summer to me.
If you want something bad enough you will always find a way to make it happin.
Live your dreams.
As some may or may not know, I have purchased the S3r w/o toys from S&P Development for delivery at the Nats. The install will take place Friday morning.
I have already got a few things togeather but will continue to update on the progress.
So far S&P have allowed me space at their booth sight.
gdflys has offered a tent covering for unexpected weather changes.
gargoile has offered the use of his trailer for easier access to the underneath of the car.
1. Coy (if he can make it)
2. Back-n-Black
3. daytonagts
4. livewire
and a few others which I am not remembering at this time have offered to help with the install.
If you would like to be involved in this project please post here or give me a PM or E-mail at spcforker@yahoo.com.
Also Scott at Maxxfab will be (hopfully, if all goes well with him) bringing me a Turboback exhaust system.
If all goes as planned I will have for sale at the Nats a stock turbo and exhaust system for sale.
If anyone is interested I could bring my stock sways and coilovers.
My stage 1 was given to me by rugoinup and I plan on giving it away to some lucky stock 2003 owner who is interested.
If the right direct fit FMIC shows up available and at the Nationals from now and the time I leave I will have my stock to sell as well.
Other item I will be looking for will be posted as time gets closer. I would love to get some experienced help on this project.

You know I'd help, but Kansas is too far away for me. What the hell were they thinking?
Dale, my friend, You have already helped way more than you will ever know.
If they would have held the thing in California like every one wanted, then maybe you could have found a way?

If it was in California, I'd have done the entire install myself on Tuesday....
Tim, you need to get a Amateur Radio License, then I can help you on what you need as a tracking device so that we can see you on the web.
Hmmmm???!!! Something like Dales "Vehiclelocate.net"?
By all means, this is not to say Vehiclelocate is not worth it, this is a system that has been in use for years and best of all its free to use.
Its called APRS http://eng.usna.navy.mil/~bruninga/aprs.html Its a network of radio stations both mobile and base that relay packet data to the internet. By knowing a persons call sign and if they are using APRS, you can find where they are. Here is an image of the transmitter installed in an Altoids can Sad to say this is not made anymore But it shows you how small the units can be. All that is needed is the transmitter and a GPS and your set. But you can also use a old mobile Ham radio ( like I am using) to do the same thing with the addition of Tinytrak3 That stores your information and GPS info and sends it to the radio to be transmitted.

Maybe I might look into getting something like this.......
I originally looked into the APRS for the Onelap car before I even knew products like VehicleLocate existed. It's a very popular way of keeping track of things, especially sailboats in the Carribean.
Unfortunately for me, I wasn't up to taking the test required for the HAM license, and gave up before I even started collecting the technology required.
Count me in to help. I can't really install any parts for you as my automotive mechanical experience is limited to oil changes, tire rotations, brake bleeds (thanks eric!) and sparkplugs, but I'd be happy to hand tools to get a front row seat to the installation. It'd be a great learning experience to watch it be done.
