Default Official Nats Pic Thread/chronicle

Post away boys and girls for those of us loosers that couldn't make it.....

And we want the details of what happened too...

[Had to start a new thread - the other one went down hill...]

But since no one has posted anything, I have to assume that the 2005 SRT Nationals was a HUGE April fools joke... Imagine that - Rezin8 got us all on the biggest April fools joke of the year !!!

If you don't know what to post, it should go something like this:

Thursday - Drove to Gonzales, met up with ---, ---, and ---. Went to Cinnamon's and got plowed. Rode in a taxi with 6 other dudes and crashed late.
<pics>

Friday - Had an awesome time at No Problem Raceway... Saw the SRT guys and their iron , and ran a 1:19 on the track. Ethan ran the Lightweight Stage 3R Mopar car and won the bracket race.... The SRT-4 Lightweight car was the fastest car there despite the "500HP" SRT-4's that raced ... Note to self: don't do a burnout on dry pavement with slicks ...
<pics>

Saturday - It's too early for pics and we're heading to the Track ! To be continued....

Sunday - <TBA>

Sorry, Who, wish I could help.
I really wanted to go this year, too. I'm sure Dunnie & Dale are testing their media setup for OneLap, so I'm surprised they haven't posted anything yet.

I've been busy working with kicker, Dale had a S3 Coilover install....the cell connection here is the WORST. Don't fret though, there will be plenty of stories, pictures and video to share.

One quick memorable experience, Super Steve going agriculture at turn one all the way to turn 4, without brakes I thought he was going to try and come back on the track right in front of us.

And I see someone is in close contact with the SRT Team.....

More to follow later.

Dunnie

I'll post some pictures tomorrow when I get home and a little teaser video.

So it sounds like you need a spare car for racing down there by the sounds of it. Crash city. or as we used to say wipeout.
