hey it just occured to me that the nat's are gunna have a buttload of SRT owner's there, and i thought we could do something for the guy's and gal's over at the belvideer plant to thank them for putting our car's together.
basicly i was thinking we could of have a banner made up with the SRTOC logo with a big "thanks for a job well done" under it and we can have everyone sign it at nat's, then we can give it to the guy's over at the plant.
we could either do it with the chicago/rockford owner's or i can just drop it off myself...i know a few people in the plant so i can set up the delivery.. they can hang it up either at the plant, or their union headquarter's.....let me know whachall think.

Great idea guys! As a DCX employee and a member of the UAW I know I would appreciate something like that. If I may offer a suggestion, perhaps 2 banners could be made, one for the plant, focusing on the quality, design, and/or overall value of the vehicle. A second banner for the union hall could recognize the efforts of the workers. I'm sure that would make plant management, union leadership, and every employee very proud. Even if one banner is made, it is an awesome gesture! (I bet the SRT team has room for a banner on Featherstone as well)
While we're at it, we could make a banner for the upper management and lawyers at DCX that says something like "Thanks for being such customer-hating jerks."

they are just doin their job. lets concentrate on how great the car is.
really all the banner would need is the SRTOC logo in the middle, a "thank's for the great work" under it, and plenty of space for people to sign it.
this place seem's to have pretty good price's as compared to the 20 other's i've broused through so far.... printer's
i'd think that 3' X 6' would do the trick. if we want to do 2, that's $98 each... not too shabby. with 24 hour shipping we even have time to run a quick colection for the money if the club isn't up to fronting it.
if we do, do two though, i think one should go to the plant and the other to PVO ...so that we make sure to thank both the engineer's and assembler's for their work.
i'm still not sure if i will be able to get to nat's, i'm currently listed as a back up speeker at a convention that weekend, but i will know if they need me like a week before.
but as i said before i can arange to deliver the plant one if it doesn't go back with the SRT guy's that come down for our meet.
