Here's a map of forecasted hurricane track of different computer weather models. The National Hurricane Center uses these models to predict the ultimate track. As you can see, the models are pointing a Southern Florida landfall as of this time, however anyone living in Florida whether it is northern or central areas should still need to monitor your local weather media outlets for updated info as the track is still rather uncertain.

Caution: Do not only focus on the line, but the surrounding areas of the line
as the line will shift up or down the coast, by how much we do not know yet.

THATS why it's making such a sharp turn. The brown is the high pressure cold front, the hurricane is below pushing against it. Another cold front is coming down and high pressures are stronger than low pressures so they pretty much direct wherever the lows go. So... the hurricane rides the edge of the high pressure front all the way through florida.

The reason why there is a split on the models that srtbro showed us was because they depend on how fast the cold front moves. The faster the cold front moves, the lower the hurricane will hit. So lets just pray it hauls ass and pushes it through the straight, unlikely though.

And yes dan, i said angry.
