I need some honest feedback from you guys. If we were to bypass getting a DJ in order to have even more money for MORE raffle prizes would that be OK with you? Tim did get us a good deal with a DJ, even though I haven't spoken to him yet. Everyone is already getting a t-shirt, but it never hurts to have a chance at winning more raffle prizes. Please post your opinion. Thank you!
I think a PA system would be a great idea considering it isnt going to be just a handful of drivers...they are going to be all spread out...and instead of sending a runner to let everyone know what is going on a PA system would solve that issue. Now, if getting a PA system is going to eat up 60% or more of what the DJ would cost I would say go with the DJ...that way you have your PA system and we got some tunes to listen to...my $0.02
You'd be surprised, but my voice can carry LOL. People are usually quiet when I call out raffle ticket numbers and announce trophy winners from past events. But having a microphone and speakers will definitely help!
see if old town will let you use their speakers & mic
GREAT NEWS! Many thanks to Justin @ VMP Tuning for offering his mobile dyno services on the day of our event!!!
They have hosted several dyno days in the past and have also been to Old Town before.
Those who pre-pay will be first in line on the day of the event, will receive a $10 discount, and will obtain free logging of boost on the graph (a $5 value)! I will also probably get 2 trophies/prizes for the SRT-4s with the highest WHP and highest torque!
On day of event, cash payments are preferred for dyno.
Please post up after you pre-pay or only if you are seriously thinking about dynoing on the day of the event. We need to have at least 15-20 cars dyno to make it worth his while to come out to our event.
I will start a separate dyno roster which will be post #3 on this thread.
THANKS EVERYONE!!!
